Shoplifter, 34, pleads guilty to stealing items worth more than £800 in Aldershot

A woman has pleaded guilty to stealing items worth more than £800 from shops in Aldershot.

Emily Fletcher, 34, of Greyhound Close, Ash, stole food, coffee, household items, and cleaning products from One Stop on North Lane, and the One Stop and Co-op stores on Lower Farnham Road.

She took the items, which were worth a total of £822.85, on 12 occasions in June, July, and August.

Fletcher also stole a mobile business scanning device, used to scan barcodes and capture data, worth £300 from Admiral Casino in July.

She was arrested and charged with 12 counts of theft from a shop and one count of theft. She pleaded guilty to all offences at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 15 September and was remanded in custody.

Fletcher is due to be sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on 16 October.
